Bank OF Baroda recently endorses two badminton champions P.V. Sindhu and Srikanth Kidambi. Both of the players are currently under a great fame. P.V. Sindhu just won silver medal in RIO Olympics and became first Indian Women to win a silver in Olympics.
Talking about Srikanth Kidambi, he is an Indian badminton player and currently the highest ranked Indian men’s player in the international circuit with a world ranking of 9 as of September 29, 2016.He won 2014 China Open Super Series Premier after beating Lin Dan by 21–19 21–17 in the final round, thus becoming the first Indian to win a Super Series Premier Men’s title. He trains at the Gopichand Badminton Academy, Hyderabad and is supported by the GoSports Foundation, Bangalore.
From now Bank of Baroda logo will appear over on the centre chest of the two athletes’ playing jersey in international as well as domestic tournaments under the aegis of Badminton World Federation Events (BWF) and Badminton Association of India sanctioned events, respectively.
