Pusarla Venketa Sindhu or we say P.V sindhu , a world renowned personality that not only brought a medal to the country but make each and every person realize that India also has born stars. P.V Sindhu won silver medal in RIO Olympics 2016 in badminton. She is the first Indian woman to win a silver medal in Olympics . She has created a sense to each one of us that woman are not less than that of man.
P.V Sindhu is an Indian badminton player born on 5 July 1995 considered for so when she broke into top 20 of the BWF Word Ranking in September 2012 .At the age of 17 she was into that. She has done wonders at the ages which was expected by none. Talking about her achievements –
- She became the very first Indian women’s single player to win a medal at Badminton world championship.
- She was the youngest recipient of THE PADMA SHRI that is India’s fourth highest civilian honor.
- In 2015, she played at the Denmark Open and reached to the final defeating three seeded players, namely Tai Tzu-ying, Wang Yihan and Carolina Marin. In November the same year, she defeated Japan’s Minatsu Mitani and bagged successive women’s singles title at the Macau Open Grand Prix Gold.
- She is the first Indian women Badminton player to grab a silver medal in Olympics.

Not only these medals are to be counted, the main thing that matters is that the happiness, the feeling of proud, the joy she gave to every single person in India. We all have a full faith that she would definitely take us to heights that we have not even thought of. We are proud of her.
